Operated by and For VMI Cadets and Alumni
The Cadet Foundation was founded and is operated by cadets and alumni to support their interests and needs independent of VMI and its Alumni Agencies
Our Mission is to support programs that preserve, protect, and advance the core VMI ethos of honor, duty, country supporting cadets and alumni as citizen-soldiers
We accomplish our mission through initiatives to assist and support cadets and alumni that grow the bond between them and those who support the moral, ethical and other positive programs and initiatives VMI's founders envisioned. We support free speech and ensure The Cadet newspaper remains one of the oldest independent college newspapers in Virginia and the country.
